Orphanage in China

Home of Hope Orphanage in China

The Home of Hope Orphanage – XuZhou, is one of a very few foreign-run orphanages in China and is the second orphanage started by the Next Towns Foundation in China. Through a remarkable series of events we have been given the opportunity to love and care for the homeless children in the XuZhou area. – Taken from their website.

I first heard about Home of Hope in 2005 when they were just getting started in the XuZhou location.  My pastors mother talked about it during our small group meeting, she was very excited about all that was happening and nearly a decade later it has continued to grow and bless so many children in china.  Some children get adopted, but for those that don't they grow up in a family environment at Home of Hope.  They get an education equipping them for a richer life than where they came from.  Many children at Home of Hope have gone on to college.

I've watched and I've given to this organization over the years.  The family that runs it is from my home church.  They have a website and send newsletters by mail at times.   Taken from their website "The Home of Hope Orphanage is owned and operated by the Next Towns Foundation Inc., a ‘Not For Profit’ organization as recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service under section 501C3. Your donation is tax deductible and you will be mailed a receipt for tax purposes as authorized under section 501C3 of the Internal Revenue Service code."  There is plenty of financial information available.

Please check out their websites and see the many happy children at Home of Hope XuZhou.
